Saturday, January 25, 2003:

today.. woke up at 5 and then got ready. at 6:45 was in the parking lot at MVHS ready to go in my formal gear off to watsonville. Noam's dad is a hella slow driver, so I pretended to be asleep on the drive up so I would avoid seeing the spedometer. then got there and got out code. I was J643... then we went to our first rounds. I was talking with one of the los altos students amy for over an hour before the judges finally showed up for the first round. then I still had to wait cuz I was the 5th speaker. My topic was contreversy, and I said it was overall good, because it brings out the facts, raised awareness, fights apathy and also helps the majority even if at the cost of those debating it. Then I went off to the cafeteria and hung out with peoples had some chips hung out listened to music and such and then went to my second round. I was speaker number 3 and the judges were once again late. but I liked my speech about whether davis's bidget cuts are an effective solution... I said no because by lowering the money for schools he's lenghthed the problem and doomed may futures. Then I went and hung out with Amy again as well as a girl I met at a previous Cynthia. Then went and had lunch and hung out mainly with dawn, brian, prashant ferris and nick. was fun. The Children of the Corn rule!! (though the name sucks...= P) Then had semi finals... none of the los altos peeps broke, but Dawn, Brian and I all did. I went to my round were I gave a speech on the quote

was an okay speech, but I didn't break to finals. after that I hung out for a while and then after finding out I didn't break I went and watched Dawn's DI... Urv watching DIs... bad idea... very depressing. after that hung out with her and a bunch of really funny and upbeat guys who have met through S+D and seen around but mainly seen due to Dawn.. eventually the rest of our small team joined us for hanging out and telling jokes and such which was fun. Then after that went and had award cerimony.. DAWN IS GOD!! She got 1st in H.I. and D.I..... best individual winning thing of whole tournament. Brian also did well getting 4th in extemp. then we drove back. got dropped off and now am blogging before bed

wednesday
block day meant not much... Math was shit though. and so was spainish. acting was fun and then we watched casablanca in drama club. then after that we had IT until 6. hung out after IT for a bit before heading home with a scenic detour to give david a ride home and pick up a book. S+D was okay, I got the century graphics quote and such, Laurel and I left early to go pick up some paper work and then we came back to the meeting which was okay. after that I went home and did the bio lab and some normal hw as well. then went to bed late, but didn't exactly sleep
thursday
normal type of thursday although english was worse then usuall and in bio we got new seats. other then that classes were normal and such. after school had IT in the drama room until 6 and then I was off to my house for a few minutes before going to my cousin's house for dinner. was okay but I had some stuff on my mind so I was more concerned with some online convos I had with a few people. home and then to sleep.
friday
one of those days when you feel like staying in bed cuz you know things will go downhill when you get up. I got up... things got worse. UGH. classes were their usuall shit. In spinish we chose groups for our project. At brunch hung out with peoples and then off to mehap. ugh, TMI when it came to the medical practices of the times... ugh, felt a bit sick after all that. then PE was okay, indoor soccer can't go too bad. lunch was okay, went to cross cultural club and then chatted with a few people. Then bio... ugh.. info about heart.. ugh.. then after that acting was okay. our group for the one act play is me, Alex, Amy, Mania, and Carl. so overall I'm okay. then english was shitty. talked about WW1 and our research project.. my group is clueless and all the brainstorming came from my head cuz they knew nothing about the era. after that I went and was on my way to IT but I took a scenic detour to finally get my clarinet and then to talk with Becca for a bit. then went to IT and joined. was an okay rehersal, could have been better, but I wasn't dissapointed or anything. I was just in a bad odd so couldn't appriciate it all. then came home and straight to the internet. where I am now, and have been for a while. yay AIM.

Sunday...
hung out at home and talked with people online. wrote some freewrite poems and such. then more online chat and some CD burning while my dad and cousin worked on installing the DSL. Then went to Zoe's bday party. was very fun. Chatted a lot with Becca, Molly, Katie, Bitondos, David, Brian, Zoe (obviously) and also random chatting with others. was fun night, and goofing off was helped by the fact we were all high on post its... hehe
Monday...
hung out at home.. I wanted to go for a bike ride, but my back tire went flat. so I hung out at home. In the late afternoon Brian stopped by for a bit before headin off to hayward. was cool seeing him. Then in the evening I went to see the Two Towers with Molly, Zoe, David, and Amber. was a lot of fun.
Tuesday...
hung out at home. brian radz had to get something from a neighbor of mine, so when he wa there I told him to stop in so we hung out for abit before I used his bike to go to Kate's house (he ran) then I dragged Kate and Brian over to Molly's house. (I can invite myself there, I aslo invited those two.. hehe) then we hung out and played mariocart for a while. then went home and then to Avi and Kavi's house for dinner. then after dinner there home to the computer where have been IMing again (as always.. at home = on the computer)and then sleep will come shortly
