Friday, November 01, 2002:

Okay... 31st.. went to school in my trench coat and hat so I was a journalist (Didi has my camera so I couldn't be photographer) After morning rehersal for band, had a fairly normal day.. In band we found out Jeff silverman has mono... was rather odd... then went to clases.. I wrote more Lodi grams and such. After school had one more band rehersal.. First we did stretching and then drill down, senior drill down, steal the gawk(spelling), rehersals, and the final run through.. (and for the purcusion people, they stripped down to underware... (eeeek...)). Was good rehersal at first... But people kept getting distracted by the football game and such.. Was soooooooooooooooooooo frustrating. Can't say was sad to end that rehersal. But I felt bad that it didn't go nicely.. Then came home and tried to do bio and such... but sleep got better of me.. ok more later...

Okay the 30th... my half b-day..school normal, then went to rehersal. Which was at Shelia's house because Choir was in the theater. Was very fun. Then went to S+D. Had an hour of free time so Asha and I amused ourselves by singing random songs, then Kate and Joe came and joined us until S+D started. Which was ok.. A bit downbeat at first as we were going off about coaching situation. Then we had breakouts, and original speeches went with Impromtu-ers and had a practice.. Which was fun. Then after that went off to my home at last and attempted to do hm.. and then was semi sucessfull, though not much... Will continue with yesterday's description later... byee all

Tuesday, October 29, 2002:

Okay.. Sunday the clocks changed.. and then got even more sleep. then hw and AIM. Then hung out with Shef as she did laundry. Then went out for dinner for my aunt's b-day. Then shef left for davis and I got dropped off home and showered. Then hw for a while, I wrote a letter and then went to bed. (at around 2) a few hours later at 5:30 I woke up.. then normal school day. PE started up again.. ugh... I hate it.Rehersal was not-so-normal though. Did Act I, and was there until 7, so had dinner with cast. During dinnner, Huizing made a comment which really annoyed me, and thus I decieded to leave rehersal for a bit and sprint a lap around the school to realease stress. Then Jessica and I were talking for a while before I returned (Barbie ended up on book). Then I got frustrated again because rehersal just felt awkward for me, so went and ran again. After I got back, my legs felt like they were about to fall off and so I stopped and hung out with Jeff, Barbie, Jessica and Coco. Then went home... Where did shit until around 11ish before decieding I didn't care and I went to bed. Now... Today... a normalish school day, though kept thinking of what huizing said. And then rehersal went really well... was nice for a change. Then hung out for a while before going reverse trick or treating with Erin, Astra, Ashley, Laura and Ryan. Then came back and hung out for a bit before Daniel (palay) dropped me home. Then had dinner and started blogging and IMing. fun fun fun.. ok.. off to shower now.

Ok.. continuing where I left off... I got to the tournament... and was dropped off at the curb so Dustin's mom could go park.. Then I sprinted across the parking lot to join the band at the four buses.. I came and told Robin and Adam, yes was there.. Then got my hair done and changed into unfirom and discovered nobody in my section had thought to grab my clarinet. So Robin said I should wait for Amador Valley to get back and then ask to borrow a clarinet from them. Then went to warm up, although still had no insturment. Then After they got back I went to ask, but they didn't know where the band director was, so I couldn't. So to avoid getting the band a tick, I was told to change out of uniform to watch the parade. So I went and pulled out my uniform cart and changed and came back to join the band. (Side note... this all made me sad) Then wished everyone luck and they began to march. I walked in time at the side. To cheer me up Brian gave me a purple ribbion to wear around me head. Which worked partially.. Though was sad to see my spot... Parade went well for the band though.. After that my mom said she'd go to get my clarinet and robin gave her and PJ the keys. After parade he rest of the band changed and we ate some granola bars and had water before rehersal and then awards. Which were fine. I bought a pin and then headed to bleachers and hung out with Daniel (the mello) and Radhika. After awards headed to buses and went to pleasenton. Once again sat next to an empty seat... Ug, is annoying to not have bus buddy to chat with. Then got out and Robin gave a speech on how well we did... then had free time, so first lay on grass for a while, then played hearts with David, Jeff and Alex(flute one...). Then after that had dinner and got dressed for field show (my clarinet arrived... YAY!) Then had warm ups in a circle, and then all the normal pre field show compition stuff. Then marched to go on. Show was okay.. though not great. Then got changed into travel uniform and went to awards. We got only one award at that, and I spend most of the time tring to take a nap on Erin's knee. Then awards ended and I had to wake up and go to my bus. I got a bus buddy this time, and used Daniel (mello) as a pillow to sleep on way back. Then got back and went to halloween party and then home to sleep.
Whew... Saturday is done...!

Monday, October 28, 2002:

Ok summery of all the recent stuff..... Thursday.. School fairly normalish.. I got out of 7th early and got ready for the tournament. After changing, I helped post room listings, move drinks to judges are, herd competitors to quad and such. Then aranged rooms and such until I was really tired from sprinting in heels and then I went to my room for the tournament. My PO wasn't as good as last time.. but my room was fairly good. Although we spent the entire 1st half and half the 2nd half on the Israel bill... during the dinner break I went and joined marching band for about 10-15 minutes before returning to my room. Then continued. At 7 we finished and waited for the judge. I think I did okay, though the winners nobody expected... Then helped get the rooms cleaned and such. After cleaninf for a while I left at about 8 and went to dinner at Franki, Johni, and Lugi's too with my mom and didi. Then after that came home and did hw and such til late. Friday school was fairly normal. IT was really good today, I enjoyed it. I brought Daniel to it (Mellophone dan...). He did really good for a new comer. Then left a bit early to change for the football game and meet people in the band room. Once again was sitting next to an empty seat... seems more frequant these days. The game was okay, though... MV won against LA 32 - 13. Though the halftime show for band sucked.. I had three big messups, and thus left feild and started crying due to frustration. After a bit was okay.. and continued to play all the annoying music. After the game was bused back to MV, where I got picked up and went home.
Saturday...
Okay this is gonna be a lot.. Day starts with alarm @ 4am... Then I realize I don't need to be up until 5.. so I reset alarm and go back to bed... Next thing I know astra is on the phone telling me I need to get to school ASAP... So I jump out of bed, grab my shit and get into car and off I got. I change in the car, and I don't eat breakfast. Then I arrive at school as the buses are pulling out... ARG, so I jump out of car to see if anyone is at the band room so I can get instrument... but there is no one there so I jump back in car and my mom and I chase the buses. At the turn onto the freeway off of fremont, The buses make the green light but we don't, but niether doees the band mom following the bus. So we honk for her to stop, I run accros the street and jump in to head off to the tournament... Okay am now having tired hands.. (To Be Continued....)
