Saturday, October 05, 2002:

Ok.. yesterday school was fairly normal. After school Kate, Ferris, Nick, and I were gonna meet up but we all sort of just flaked... Then ended up going to my cousins house for dinner. Today I woke up at 6:30 and had breakfast before heading off to MV for m band.. First we did a basics block, then practice run throughs and drill cleaning on the practice feild while the lines were painted on the main field. Then sectionals so woodwinds were inside playing parade music and Children of Sanchez, then more run throughs but on the main field.. Then lunch and more run throughs.. then a few more after that. Then we had a break for about a half hour so I went and joined the drama people who were rehersing in the theater. Sat down with Brian and stole his shoulder to watch for a bit.. I would have done stuff, but my job of reading blocking is useless once they know it already... Then off to go get my hair put up (a new band mom was doing it but she managed o do so very well... most band moms who had to deal with it last year just sort of smooshed it and pinned it and sprayed it, she actually did double braids and then a weird bun to keep it up.. was a bit round and such, but my hair always is when in the hat [hence the feather goes all over the place..]) Then changing into uniform.. and getting insturments and going out to watch the other bands..A bit sad feeling to be back in the uniform, I have the same jacket as last year, and thus being in it again made me think a lot about that.... But was exciting to be preforming again too. When the other bands performed it was nice to just watch... Then it was our turn. We did okay. A few mess ups but I fixed a lot of my problems I'd had earlier... *cough Bellavia cough cough* But despite a few minor mistakes, we did a great job and had the intensity behind it. Then after we finished we did our traditional spiral thingy and then got out of uniforms. Then I went tracked my parents down, bought my music department sweatshirt, went home and headed straight towards the shower. After that went to a family friends house for dinner. Now am back and am about to edit my site a bit and then go to bed.

Thursday, October 03, 2002:

hello.. ok today was okay.. m band in the morning was outside and we had a lot of problems in our run throughs... In mehap we did the usuall stuff (get side tracked on famos historical people's love lives).. Most interesting part.. for Hanry VIII his wives: divorce, behead, die, divorce, behead, survive.... During my free period I gave Nicole her wallet and we hung out in the cafeteria and did bio. Then we went online in the library and I added to my site... Then at lunch my usuall group hung out in the bio room and did test corrections and Radhika gave me feedback on my essay. Then in class we talked about plants. In english we read the first chapter of ... damn.. drawing a blank here.. oh well, the book we're reading in english. Then in m band we had the lesson on getting into uniforms before we worked on chair step (ouch.. my legs are still sore) and cleaned Gato.. we ended with a full run through.. realized that there will be the problem during the show about tripping on flags as there were three of us who stumbled on them while marching backwards... none of us fell, but we then were out of time for a full measure. Then we were dissmissed, I went home. Took a shower and am now doing online stuff and finishing my essay corrections and now off to dinner.

ok... yesterday posted this.. but did so on wrong blog...
Okay.. last night by the time I finished hw last night and then went to bed it was about 1, so am once again tired. Note for yesterday that I forgot to say, Happy b-day to Brent.... Back to my life... School was okay. highlighs of the day:
during forth Natasha, Ali, Nicole, Rebecca and I hung out in the cafeteria and did hw for a while...
Bio corrections at lunch
Performed my monolouge for Acting.. (Little Murders by Jules Fieffer.. is about a woman about to get married)
Saw Rock before 6th and before 7th
M band was okay today. we first did a basics block then we ran the full show and worked on cleaning it. Because my section is lame and we are always late ect.. I usually make myself on time or early to make up for it, so because of that I was marcher of the day today. (Weird how Astra referred to me as a spirted clarinet... First cuz clarinets have NO sprit ... and second because I am not sprited.. dedicated? definitly, as a member of band I feel that should be a requirement just as a generall thing of respect to all other band members.. but sprited? hell no... heehee.. Anyways I'm now having a Sprite for the first time in a long long time because of my being "sprited") Anyways.. now am gonna go shower (eeww... urv smells like a band geek.. narsty.. heehee.. jk, am not smelly, just need a shower) And then hw, dinner, website revisions + additions make nicole's b-day present and BED.. Oh yes, Urv will be in bed at a decent hour.. ok am going now.

now for today...
Mband this morning was good, we learneed how to march on and off the field. Which is exciting last year we learned that the week of cupertino... Now we have only cleaning the drill left. Math was okay.. we had a test.. I did good on one of the two probs, the other I messed up on.. Then in spainish we did banco and watched part of beautyand the beast. Then at lunch hung out in the Chem room cuz Gontang wouldn't let us go do test corrections. Then in Acting we watched monolouges.. In drama I did blocking during rehersal as always and they had the costums discussed. Then came home for an hour and ate before going to S+D. Where we had an okay meeting. Got Laurel to edit my english essay and practiced all the stuff I needed to. I also got a soda for turning in my sheets on time... Then came home and have been glued to the computer, IMing, e-mailing, and such.. and will now do hw while continueing hw...

Monday, September 30, 2002:

ok.. I lied last night... I ended up taking a shower cuz I couldn't sleep. And then by the time I had gone back to bed it was about 2:30... am now soooo tired. but my head hurts more from the fricking spainish project then from lack of sleep, though I really need it. Even me who is used to little sleep, feels three to five hours doesn't cut it.. Oh well, will work on it and til then can deal. Today was okay, I delievered the dozen binder's to a greatful cast... Those scripts were really falling apart. And then the school day was fairly normalish. GSA was sooo boring though.. honestly... that activity did nothing for any of us other then waste an hour... Am now seeing why people believe the club is worthless... The idea is great, but we do NOTHING... or pretty close to it. Anyways after school I went to rehersal and once again wrote in the blocking for the script. Erk, I want a real job, or at least a consistant one or something. I dunno... this feels like I'm just there because Huizing wants someone else to write the shit so the actors who forget have a safety net. Also, I really want to play one of the dead bodies in the play. Cuz they will need two seperate people, one (Hoskins) who starts in window seat and ends in the celler, and then Spenalzo who starts off stage, then to seat then celler as well... so Hoskins can't be Spenalzo... but Huizing wants it to be two guys... Erk, we don't even have one guy to be dead, where are we gonna get two? And I am fairly small and I really want to be a dead body and he says no cuz he wants a guy and I also have long hair so would be even harder.... Erg, we changed the script so guy parts became girls... Why can't we make Mr. Hoskins os Spenalzo a Miss or Mrs..? Whatever... Then after rehersal went to In And Out and got a burger and fries for dinner. The flower "party" ended up being just me and Kate. But we made enough to fill one of the sofas.. Not bad for only two of us. And then started hw.. but Spainish is evil so here I am blogging now. Am listening to the Artful Dodger CD now.. good stuff... this CD makes me think fall.. cuz of last year. So fits well. Other related stuff...I HATE hw.. HATE... must emphisize this.. it is evil.. Don't we do enough at school? Oh my.. ok.. I'm gonna go finish Spainish or Laura will kill me, and then on to math and mehap. Bio can wait til tomorrow during my free forth. and I am almost done will english revisions, but I want to have somebody from band edit it as it is about a marching band tradition which is edited to be an open mike instead.. (for privacy reasons, no names are included either.) Anyways.. I feel like sleep now, so is really time to go. Byee

Ok.. yesterday the game was ok... I hung out with Ferris, Nick and Kate who cam and sat next to the band so we could hang out. MV won the game againsh Palo Alto. After the game I loaded back on the bus with band and then off to school we go... Bus ride with band made me think of a lot of the ones last year.. Uh oh, Urv's reflecting again... MAKE HER BRAIN STOP!
then home where I went online for a bit before changing out of the panguin suit... I mean my travel uniform andthen I went to bed. Today I woke up around eleven.. ahh the joys of a free Saturday, enjoying this while it lasts... Then I stayed in bed til one, had breakfast, went online for a bit, had some ice cream, edited an english essay and chatted online. Heard from Adam for the first time since he left, which was good. For anyone reading this who knows him, he is doing well, busy with clubs and such, but seems to be having a good time with college. Back to my life....Then had dinner and went to see the new Jackie Chan movie with my mom. It was good if you like bond movies, not much plot, but enjoyable. Then I started up a load of laundry and am now am online chatting with Kai and Marianne and checking e-mail and blogging before bed. ok am done.. bed time
